Ridership
Average weekday ridership
for the month of October 2023 was 129,853 up by 8,021 or 7% from the previous
year. Fiscal year-to-date ridership is 13,862,516, up by 7% from the previous
year.
Ridership continues to recover
in 2023 and is still approximately 34 percent lower than pre-pandemic level.

On-Time Performance
System-wide on-time performance
is at 72% for the month of October 2023. Out of 117 total routes, 42 routes exceeded
on-time performance of 80% and 1 performed under 50%.
The DTS and OTS Service
Review Committee reviews service levels, including on-time performance monthly.

Safety and Security
The number of reported crimes has increased this year. These incidents
range from graffiti and vandalism to objects thrown at the bus.

Maintenance
The spare ratio for
articulated buses remained low at 77% for the year due to warranty recall
issues in the newest fleet.

Service Modifications
Service modifications were
implemented with the August sign-up and remain in effect until the December
sign-up.

Route
2 adjusted with 2 trips an hour extended to Kahala Mall and remaining trips
will short turn at Monsarrat.

121 Nuuanu-Alapai Transit Center discontinued.

Route 151 will be implemented when Halewiolu Senior
Residence is operational.

Routing:
from terminus on River St. right Vineyard Blvd., right Pali Hwy., continue to
Bishop St., right Hotel St., right N. King St., right Liliha St., right Kuakini
St., right Pali Hwy., right School St., left Aala St., left Kukui St., left
River St. to terminus. This route will be implemented when Halewiolu
Senior Residence is operational.

433 was renumbered to Route 444 and rerouted to the terminus at West Loch
Station.
